The Lasallian Club held its first official general meeting of the year, bringing together representatives from all active student clubs to review recent activities, accomplishments, and challenges within the school’s extracurricular community.

The meeting opened with the introduction of the newly appointed leadership team: President Tanegeta Teshome, Vice President Nehemiah Abrham and Secretary Markan Zewedu. The presidency outlined its vision for strengthening student participation and improving coordination among clubs, reaffirming its commitment to supporting the work of all student organizations.

Following the introductions, clubs presented their monthly reports, highlighting achievements, strengths, and areas of concern. One recurring issue raised by multiple groups involved limitations with the ground hall, which affected their ability to carry out several planned activities.

Two active clubs delivered notable updates during the session:
Future Leaders Club: President Etsub Dink stated, “We have successfully hosted a leadership and networking event featuring invited guest Sifen Deferu, who shared her experience in business and professional networking.”

Red Cross Club: President Mekdelawit Bekele reported, “We have conducted a First Aid and Safety Awareness session for students, contributing to the school’s health and safety education efforts.”

These reports showcased the meaningful impact student clubs continue to make despite logistical challenges. The general meeting served as a vital platform for transparency, collaboration, and reflection, allowing for a comprehensive overview of the school’s extracurricular landscape.

The Lasallian Club reaffirmed its dedication to fostering a vibrant and well-organized club environment, supporting the holistic development of students at St. John Baptist De La Salle Catholic School.
