The wait is over! St. John School is officially opening admissions for the upcoming academic year. Please note that this admissions cycle is strictly for incoming Grade 9 students who have successfully taken the Regional Ministry Exam.

⚠️ CRITICAL NOTICE BEFORE REGISTERING:
Please check your credentials using the Credential Checker tool on our portal before filling out the form to avoid duplicate registrations. Furthermore, all data must be entered strictly in English (A–Z). Non-English characters in names will not be accepted by the system.
Crucial Dates & Deadlines
Time is of the essence. Please mark your calendars for these two critical dates:
- Registration Deadline: Monday, June 22nd (The portal closes strictly on this day!)
- Entrance Exam Date: Tuesday, June 23rd
Entrance Exam Details: You will need your registration details for the entrance exam on Tuesday, June 23rd. The exam will contain Grade 8 questions based on the following three core subjects: General Science, English, and Mathematics.
Important Payment Information
A non-refundable registration fee of ETB 300 is required before proceeding with your application. You must register online only after the payment slip has been successfully deposited and uploaded.

- Slip Requirement: The payment slip must clearly contain the student's full name for verification purposes. Anonymous or incomplete slips cannot be approved.
Application Form Requirements
When accessing the Grade 9 Admission Portal, please ensure you have the following information prepared accurately:
1. Student Information
- Student's First Name, Father's Name (Middle Name), and Grandfather's Name (Last Name) — Strictly in English (A-Z)
- Date of Birth (Gregorian Calendar)
- Nationality (Ethiopian or Other)
- Current School Name
2. Parent / Guardian Information
- Parent/Guardian Full Name
- Phone Number — Must be entered exactly in the format: 251XXXXXXXXX. This specific number will be used to recover your credentials if they are ever lost.
3. Payment Verification
- A clear, legible upload of your Awash Bank Payment Slip (ETB 300).
