We are absolutely thrilled to share some exciting news from the academic front! Our brilliant debate team recently participated in a challenging and stimulating debate competition hosted by the Kotebe University Science Shared Campus, held at the Ethiopian Press Agency premises.
Facing off against the talented students from One Planet International Academy, our team showcased exceptional research, critical thinking, and persuasive oratory skills.
From the opening statements to the final rebuttals, the atmosphere was charged with intellectual energy.
While the competition was fierce, and we commend One Planet International Academy for being formidable and gracious opponents, we are incredibly proud to announce that the judges declared St. John students the winners!
This victory is not just a win for the team members; it's a proud moment for our entire school community. It highlights our commitment to fostering critical thinking, effective communication, and academic excellence. Participating in events hosted by esteemed institutions like Kotebe University and platforms like the Ethiopian Press Agency provides invaluable experience for our students.
